I had a long and thoughtful piece that I had written about how fat shaming and body policing fucks up my life on a somewhat regular basis, but I recently learned a more painful lesson about how it shapes my most treasured friendships. I had my thoughts all written out, but I don't feel like they're saying exactly what I want them to say. I'm going to sidebar this conversation for now, but return to it really soon.
For now, I guess I want to just acknowledge that it sucks a lot.
